Business Development Services
The BBIF works closely with businesses to identify, analyze and implement strategic business plans to enhance the performance of the business through our Technical Assistance programs.

New Client Orientation
This orientation service is designed to provide business owners information about BBIF services. Business owners speak directly with BBIF's Business Development Officer; getting information regarding the many services that the BBIF offers to businesses and getting individual business assistance. New client orientation’s are held at 5:00 pm the second Tuesday and at 12:00 Noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the BBIF office, located at 315 E. Robinson Street, Suite 660, Orlando, FL 32801. (Please call our office at (407) 649-4780, to reserve your seat.).
ONE-ON-ONE STAFF COUNSELING
BBIF’s highly trained staff will meet with business owners to provide tailored and focused advice specific advice and guidance for their business. Appointments are recommended, as the schedule is subject to change without notice.

One-On-One Technical Team
BBIF’s Technical Team of consultants: CPA’s, Attorneys, Financial advisors, Strategic planners and Marketing professionals meet monthly with “selected” business owners to provide intense and ongoing business advice a one-on–one setting. This service addresses capacity development and business growth strategies. This service is available by Invitation only to select businesses.

BBIF Business Owners Roundtable
The BBIF monthly roundtables allow business owners to meet monthly in a group setting with other business presidents and consultants. In these monthly roundtable meetings business owners receive focused financial technical assistance from a team of consultants specializing in finance, strategic planning, bond assistance, cost analysis, budgeting, bookkeeping, human resources and law. Business owners’ management skills and financial conditions are enhanced, strengthened, and improved. Business owners are also supported in this training by mentors, which are the larger and successful minority business owners.

BBIF Business Assessment
The BBIF provides an annual “Business Assessment” of their member businesses, upon request. This assessment consists of an evaluation of financial, accounting and operational systems and provides the business owner feedback with written recommendations for overall business improvement.

Access to Opportunity
BBIF MONTHLY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY LUNCHEONS
The BBIF Monthly Business Opportunity Luncheons provide a forum for business owners and professionals to meet with business and community executives, public and private, in a roundtable forum to discuss contracting opportunities. This luncheon introduces business owners directly to top level executives and key decision makers in the Central Florida community. In addition, the luncheons are designed to give business owners an opportunity to network with other business owners and develop relationships to assist in the growth of their businesses.

Special Community Meetings
BBIF members receive invitations to all important business community meetings. BBIF’s leadership works closely with local political leaders to help to distribute information throughout the minority business community. Such information may assist minority owned businesses with important information regarding additional business opportunities.

Access to Networking
BBIF ANNUAL BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT
The BBIF hosts annually a business networking event for Central Florida’s business community. This event provides a casual and relaxed environment for developing relationships and securing business contracts. In attendance are minority and majority business owners and contracting companies that are looking to meet with minority businesses to partner and subcontract with for opportunities. Approximately 400 people attend this event annually and millions of dollars in contracting opportunities are obtained each year by minority owned businesses. Many major BBIF corporate partners and governmental entities sponsor this event.
