Black Business
Loan Fund

Provides loans to qualified stage 1 existing Black owned businesses.

The Black Business Loan Fund (BBLP) loan amounts are $10,000 - $100,000.

Micro Loan
Fund

Provide funds to stage 0, small and minority owned businesses.

The Micro Loan Fund loan amounts are $5,000 - $50,000.

Contract Financing
Loan Fund

Provides loans to minority businesses with acceptable contracts.

The Contract Financing Loan Fund loan amounts are $10,000 -$100,000

The BBIF ‘s staff consists of experienced commercial and economic lenders, highly trained professionals and a skilled administrative staff. This staff of professionals has over 46 years combined experience.


Inez Long, President/CEO - Responsible for the overall management and administration of the organization and its loan funds.

Duane Lewis, Vice President/Senior Loan Officer – Responsible for overall client assistance, loan development and the management of portfolio quality control and risk.

Oraine Reid, Comptroller - Manages the organization's ledger accounts, statements, balance sheet and audit of cash flows.

Jasmine Houston, Communications Officer/Assistant Project Manager – Responsible for the overall marketing efforts of the organization.  Also provides support to the developer of the Renaissance at Carver Square.

Donna Dingle, Office Manager/Loan Administrator – Responsible for maintaining full and proper functioning of the BBIF office and an integral part of the loan portfolio process.

Brittany Chatmon, Technical Assistance Officer – Responsible for client assistance coordination and organizational reporting.
